Arcade racing enthusiasts in France have been actively engaging with their favorite high-speed titles on iOS devices throughout the first quarter of 2021. Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look at the performance of the top five applications in this adrenaline-fueled category.

Gameloft's flagship title, Asphalt 9: Legends, saw a fluctuating trend with downloads peaking at 11K in late December and dropping to 5K by the end of March. Weekly active users started strong at 24K but saw a downward trend, finishing at approximately 13K. Revenue also experienced a decline from roughly $10K to $5K in the same period.

Another popular title by Electronic Arts, Need for Speed No Limits, witnessed a similar trend with downloads decreasing from 4.5K to around 2.7K and active users dropping from 18K to 13K. The game's revenue, however, showed a rebound in late March, climbing to $7.6K.

Hutch Games Ltd's Rebel Racing maintained a relatively stable performance in downloads, starting at approximately 8.6K and ending the quarter with 4.6K. The weekly active users remained high with an initial 41K that slightly decreased to 31K. The revenue for Rebel Racing saw an uptick in the final week of March, reaching $3.9K.

Asphalt 8: Airborne, another racer from Gameloft's stable, had a steady quarter with downloads hovering around 2K each week and active users ranging between 5.6K and 8.8K. Revenue saw some variability, with a notable peak at $4.1K towards the end of January.

Lastly, CarX Drift Racing 2 by CarX Technologies showcased consistent download numbers, staying around the 2K mark throughout the quarter. Weekly active users saw a slight decline from 5.7K to 4.5K. Revenue for the game experienced a drop in late March, ending at $890.
